She was pipped on the post over 6 furlongs in that second start, by a first timer called Fly To Glory, from the Archie Watson yard. That was an impressive debut considering all that went wrong and I made her a good thing next time out. She showed a lovely turn of foot to go from near last to first, and was just run out of it late. That debut was on the Tapeta at Newcastle over 7 furlongs, and she was slow away and bumped out the gates and sat last, she moved up really well and was forced to switch in for a run 2 furlongs out.
She made a proper eye-catching debut in December when almost beating my Top Bet Al Qareem that day, and she has went straight into my mental black-book that day. That means she is back on a winning mark and should be very competitive having her 3rd run after a rest and over a course and distance she likes. She had excuses in her last start completely blowing the start, and she has dropped back down to a mark of 82, the same mark she won last career victory off. Twice The Master should be 14/1 and TIN CUP around 5 or 6/1 in my opinion. If Twice the Master is a 7/1 shot, then TIN CUP should be 3/1.
Twice The Master finished 1.9 lengths in front of TIN CUP, but TIN CUP has to reverse that form now back in a normal maiden and 7.5kgs better off with Twice The Master for that 1.90 length beating! Twice The Master is 7/1, so what TIN CUP is doing at 14/1 is beyond me, especially as he is progressive and drawn well.
He ran in a Special Weights maiden last time and only finished 2.65 lengths behind Futurismo carrying top weight. I think I have found some value in this race, TIN CUP at 14/1. First of all he is held by the 6/1 NAUSHON in the Steinbeck run, and you can ignore NAUSHON's last run as he was lame. AENEAS is no star having his 10th start as a maiden and clearly vulnerable to anything progressing, the 18/10 is a joke. Kenilworth 18 May: The Whsiperer's Value Bet, TIN CUP, won with 14/1 on offer!
